## Data Security Training

To access the individual level data in the Sandbox, you are required to take a **data security exam once a year**. This is to make sure the data related to the study subjects is not mishandled.

In the videos 1-4, a researcher called Individual Jones will guide you through the basic structure of the Sandbox, the data content and how data security is handled. Videos 5-7 will focus on how to identify and report a data breach.

**Video 1:** [**FinnGen is a research project**](https://www.finngen.fi/en/members/recordings/finngen-data-security-training-material-part-1) **(3.31 min)**

* The aims of the FinnGen research project
* FinnGen genotype and phenotype data basic

* Or contacting directly our DPO

*Examples of data breaches:*

* *green account holders having access to any individual-level (red) data*
* *any individual-level (red) data outside FinnGen Sandbox*
* *sharing individual level data in the presentations/manuscripts etc. (note, FGIDs are considered red data).*

If you lose your @finngen.fi-credentials, or suspect that they have been compromised, please immediately contact <finngen-servicedesk@helsinki.fi>.
