# How do I report a data breach?

FinnGen contains sensitive individual-level health and genetic data. The protection of this data is of the utmost importance to FinnGen. All researchers working at FinnGen have a role in ensuring that it remains confidential and safe.

**If you suspect that a data breach has occurred, you must immediately report it** using the [Online reporting form](https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/103627/lomakkeet.html) or by directly contacting our DPO (Data Protection Officer) by email or phone:
