# Kidney Diseases Task Force

**Chairs:** Rodos Rodosthenous (FinnGen), Karol Estrada (Maze)

**Main scientific questions**

1. What are the main factors (i.e., genetic and clinical) contributing to kidney function decline variability?
   1. Special interest in further characterizing patient populations, such as Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD)
   2. What is the impact of acute kidney injury (AKI) on CKD and kidney function decline?
2. Which proteomic biomarkers are prognostic of fast kidney decline?
3. Do drugs have an impact on CKD progression (e.g., SGLT2)?
