# Parkinson's disease Task Force

**Main scientific questions**

1. Identification of prodromal disease markers in PD
2. Understanding the most common trajectories in PD disease progression using clearly defined stages (prodromal stage, motor progression, progression to mild cognitive impairment, loss of independence, dysautonomia, sleep problems, depression)
3. Genetics/proteomics underlying mortality and disease progression in PD using different stages
4. Genetics underlying the age at onset in PD
5. Characterizing the HLA region in PD
