# Navigating the Sandbox

#### Step 1:

The name (or abbreviation) of your organization/company/work group. Dropdown menu at upper right corner (opening from ˅ sign) shows

* your username and the name of the Sandbox(es) you have access to,
* “Report an error” button for bug and error reports, and
* “Sign out” button

#### Step 2:

Main navigation through Applications –bar:

* view files, change settings, select applications, open terminal, open web browser, use libreOffice tools, and log out

#### Step 3:

Sidebar (opening from > sign at left) provides:

* Toggle to Desktop, Show extra keys, Fullscreen view, Disconnect, and Shutdown Virtual Machine

#### Step 4:

Bottom sidebar provide shortcuts to:

* Desktop, Terminal, File Manager, Web Browser, Application Finder, and Home menu

#### Step 5:

Buckets.txt file contains addresses to Sandbox buckets

#### Step 6:

FinnGen analyzing tools are available through Applications -bar:

* Atlas, Gustom GWAS, Genotype browser and Pipelines

#### Step 7:

Development -bar in Applications menu contains:

* RStudio, Emacs (GUI), Emacs (Terminal), and Jupyter Notebook

#### Step 8:

Graphics –bar in Applications menu contains:

* R, xpdf and LibreOffice Drawn

#### Step 9:

Open windows can be minimized and opened again from the top bar

#### Step 10:

Desktop button at the bottom sidebar will minimize all open windows and show the desktop
