Data is available since 2010.
Kanta medication delivery is not released for DF13 but was created by filtering out FINNGENIDs from DF13 [service sector](/finngen-data-specifics/red-library-data-individual-level-data/what-phenotype-files-are-available-in-sandbox-1/service-sector-data.md) within DF12 kanta medication delivery file.
The file contains the following columns:

| CDA\_ID\_SALATTU | Unique identifier of the document, unique for each line of the document. Delivered encrypted on a per-document basis. |
| DOC\_GROUP\_SALATTU | The identifier is the same as the unique identifier (CDA\_ID) of the document in the related prescription on the basis of which the prescription was issued. When a prescription related to a medical prescription is to be found, the CDA\_ID of the prescription corresponding to the DOC\_GROUP of the medical prescription shall be searched. To be provided encrypted on a per-document basis. |
| RESIPTISTATUS | The prescription status tells whether the medicine is a prescription medicine or not. 0=No, 1=Yes. |
| DIS\_AMOUNT\_CALC\_TEXT | The quantity supplied, as declared by the pharmacy, as a clause. |
| DIS\_AMT\_VALUE | The quantity supplied, as declared by the pharmacy, in numerical form. |
| DIS\_AMOUNT\_TXT | The quantity supplied, as declared by the pharmacy, in text form. |
| DIS\_AMT\_UNIT | The unit of quantity supplied, as declared by the pharmacy. |
| DELIVERY\_FEE | The cost of medication, consisting of the price of the drug packages and the pharmacy's delivery fee. |
| MED\_EXCHANGED | In the pharmacy, a medication can be marked as "substituted" in any case where the delivery differes in some way from the original prescription. For example, the VNR code may be different, but the supplied product differ only in terms of packaging type, such as a can being supplied instead of a blister pack. Therefore the delivery may be marked as "Medication substituted" even though medication has not been substituted with a cheaper alternative. The "Medication substituted" label may also appear in cases where the related prescription does not have a VNR code (i.e., the medication has been prescribed by its active ingredeint name). 0 = No, 1 = Yes. |
| DOSE\_DISTRIBUTION | Dose distribution, 0 = No, 1 = Yes. |
| ATC\_CODE | ATC code of the medicine. The ATC classification is the international classification of medicines maintained by the WHO. In Finland, the classification is maintained by Fimea. When selecting or classifying drug purchases based on the ATC code, any changes in the ATC classification must be taken into account. |
